Meet Our Founder
Nicole is the owner of Nicole Brown Studios located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Originally from Minnesota with 14 years of experience in sophisticated salons as a master colorist, color director, certified hair extensionist, and mentor, Nicole has learned from and worked alongside some of the best in the industry during which time she developed her signature color and extension applications.
She specializes in highlighting her client’s natural beauty by accentuating their best features through formulating multi-dimensional shades. She masterfully incorporates her signature brand of highlights, lowlights, balayage, and subtle tweaks to the base to create soft, organic-looking lived in hair. Nicole creates balance and energy by the way she selects tones, contours shapes, and introduces lightness into their hair design. After time spent in her chair, clients feel refreshed, beautiful, and empowered.
With her hand tied extension application, she uses high quality human hair and seamlessly blends them to achieve the hair of your dreams and pairs extensions with lived in color to achieve a seamless, natural look. It’s perfect for girls who want to live a low-maintenance day-to-day lifestyle while looking anything but low-maintenance.
Her passion to continue learning new technique trends in the industry allows her to bring back this knowledge to her clients and teach young stylists through the NBS apprenticeship program.
When she’s not in the salon, you can find her traveling, outside exercising or practicing mindfulness! She loves experiencing life through different cultures, food, and anything outside of her norm to get a different perspective. Her love for learning spreads through all facets of her life!

JUNIOR STYLIST
Whitney is a junior stylist with five years of experience, specializing in dimensional color that enhances natural beauty with depth and vibrancy. From sun-kissed highlights to rich, multi-tonal hues, her work feels effortless, lived-in, and uniquely you.
Certified in the Mane Luxe Extension Method, Whitney delivers seamless, natural-looking transformations that complement her clients’ color and lifestyle. Known for her expert styling and signature scalp massages, she blends relaxation with hair health, creating sleek finishes, soft waves, and styles that last.
With a calm, intuitive presence, Whitney is mindful of each guest’s experience—whether you prefer a quiet, restorative appointment or engaging conversation, she’ll cater to your needs and make you feel at ease.
Outside the salon, Whitney is a hands-on mom and proud wife who loves her family deeply and spends all of her time with them when she’s not behind the chair.
Color Specialty Apprenticeship & Mentorship Program
At Nicole Brown Studios, we offer a 12 to 18 month paid color specialty apprenticeship program for new stylists targeting advanced education, guest communications and relations, and business building.
Apprentices will receive advanced education and have the opportunity to grow into a full-time colorist with ongoing support and built in community of supportive stylists here at Nicole Brown Studios.
